Really silly one, the subpoenas are not coming just from any lawyers, they are coming from AG's, in other words the state. This is the government threatening free speech with criminal prosecution, it is nothing less.

It does not seem like it should be the government's business what any private group has been saying about c*****e c****e, what research they've been doing, or not doing.
Private entities should be free to think or say anything, even if they lie, unless it has a direct impact on national security. C*****e c****e deniers are not a threat to security. They may be blind and foolish, but not a threat!
The market will eventually decide who the liars are.
Rising ocean levels may offer a clue ...
