the last one is a Pitts Special.
I took a ride in one (S-2) at Sun 'n Fun (major airshow in Lakeland, FL)...20 minutes of upside down, right side up, crooked, backwards, sideways, and everything in between. Best $200 I ever spent!!!! This weekend, there's a fly-in/drive-in pancake breakfast at a local airport that I'd never been to. I plan to go and take some pics...plane pics, that is.

I did the same thing....myself and a friend went to fly in a Pitts.
My friend went first; when they returned the pilot asked me how radical I wanted to get...I said..."just one more G than my friend"....
He delivered and I felt like crap the whole day. :)

I've also got 3 minutes of freefall time in 3 jumps. Couldn't afford the 4th. I'd love to try ballooning, gliding, parasailing....If I had a job, I'd start flying again. I have a couple hundred hours (maybe 250) in small planes, but at over $100/hr rental rates, it's been out of my league for quite some time. Even if I never fly again, I'll have those memories and the knowledge that not too many people, %-wise have gone through the training to get their pilots license.

Is the first one a P-80 Shooting Star? I have a vintage metal display model of one. Cheers.
I think it is a T-33 trainer. It has 2 seats and doesn't have any guns.
Great true to life photos
They were giving rides here, however at a a cost of $395 it was a bit beyond my reach.
There were a number of Veterens there, who flew the planes in WWII and one pilot took a couple of them up for free, what memories that must have brought back for them (the vets were in wheelchairs and over 90 years old). Will post a pic I got of one of them.
first one looks like a T-33 trainer with 2 ejection seats
USAF trainer into the jet age.
the Juet is a T-33, notice the secound seat in back. Air force trainer.
