Why can't the government just confisticate a one mile swath of land along the Mexican border?

This land would become an army base and any i******s could be shot on sight. Can anybody contribute to this idea or a better one. Would love to hear from someone who is serious.

we wont even shoot the 'mums who are coming to take us over, the mex are more or less peaceful.. and if we had closed the border 25 years ago, we would not have a problem today..but the dems need the v**es.. sigh

Let's make Mexico our 51st state! Clean up the corruption (well, at least make it "Americanized"). Just think.....no more issues with the border, lots of new labor and tax collections AND cheap (initially) retirement opportunities for seniors!

There are plenty of ways to handle this but I'm thinking that murdering civilians isn't an American value. If you on the other hand think it is a good idea you might want to reach out to a mental health professional and talk about it.

We can't shoot i******s on sight. And moving the border would do a thing. Wht we need to do is enforce existing laws. End sanctuary cities and place the military on the border.

There is no enforcement; remember the Berlin Wall?
They used plowed land, filled with landlines, armed patrols with submachine guns and dogs, guard towers, and bricked up the windows of any building built on the dividing line. Didn't work.
I******s could sail around the end of the fence, as happened in the instance of Cuba and Europe. Or they could tunnel under the fence, as they do now.
Most i******s fly in, I understand. Many are trucked in; fence wouldn't stop that.
Remember Chuck Yeager? First man to exceed the sound barrier is level flight?
He was shot down over France in WWII, then excaped by walking over the border to Spain--the border guarded by N**is.
If N**is can enforce a border, what do you think we can do?

Our security forces on the border need to enforce the laws and ignore the illegal stand down commands from the WH occupier.
