Shakey Loc: Traveling again to Norway and other places.

Here's another alley in Turkey. The .jpg file has not been processed other than to create the file from the original RAW file.
The RAW file is attached if you prefer to use it.
Have at it in any way you want - let's see it pop or create something unusual.
Hanging on the wall, on the right is a painting of a lady in a harem. It is a beautiful painting and I was taken with it but, as my wife said, no place left to hang it. LOL!

Ok Shakey, another one for you.

Photoshop - reduced highlights, increased brightness, opened shadows, increased clarity and contrast, all small amounts. Re-opened in camera raw and used brush tool and decreased blown out whites once again. Did some minor distortion correction and straightening. Flattened file and saved as jpg.

Opened revised file in Aurora HDR Pro, (Not available on windows), single image. Used realistic setting and selected "Happy Day"settings. Saved file and now you have the results.

Hang it on an outside wall or over your bed. Hope your wife didn't hear me say that.

Oh yes! Great job, Jim. You made the best of this image: colors, detail, highlights controlled, just wonderful.

Here's my go Shakey,

Started in Lightroom to straighten and make universal adjustments much like Jim-pops, then into photoshop for local adjustments with masks.
Removed noise and sharpened using the shop signs as a guide as I did not know the texture of the walls.

Thanks again for the exercise - keep them coming

First I apologize to Gaylord for ripping off his idea but I thought I would go one step more to make Shakey Happy. Shakey I understand your wife doesn't want you to have this picture so you passed on it. So I reworked a bit of magic on it and made it wallet size for you. Get your print and put it in your wallet just don't tell your wife. Jim

I'm amazed at the detail you brought out in your PP that was not apparent. Well done.

Thanks for the quick trip to Turkey! Here is yet another rendition.. A little cropping and a lot of exposure shadow highlight and clarity adjustments in Lightroom for a more subdued look

Nice job indeed, AlMac. The image just pops off the page on clicking download+. I can even see the butterfly tattooed on the guy's leg.

Well, I'll be . . . . Jim you are a pal. That will make a fine addition to the beauties in my wallet: wife, daughters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters and now Fatima (pronounced Fateema locally). Thanks a bunch for your outstanding work on the image.

Yep, clever work, Lloyd. The shadows focus the sunlight on the folks in the alley beautifully. Nice job.
