Next month I'm renting a Sony RX1r mk ii for a few days. I have watched a lot of videos regarding its use and read all I can about it that's available online.
I'm going to be in Yosemite for four days, and I'm looking for some fresh and innovative ideas. I've been photographing the park for sixty years. For me, this is going to be a retro experience in that I will have neither interchangable lenses nor zoom capacity.
Do any of you here on UHH have experience with this camera that you'd like to share -- either positive or negative?
I'm looking forward to the challenge.
This camera is an expensive full frame with 42 megapixels. Your image quality will be exceptional. If you are not concerned with far away shots that a telephoto would be better suited, you should be satisfied with it. Have a good trip.
Where are you renting from, please?

I'm renting from Lensrentals.com. Their prices are reasonable, their service is great, and they have an excellent selection.
