I promise this will be the last Iceland photo I will torture you with:)
When at Myvatn on the Aurora night, our 4x4 was parked off the road with it's light on. The tail lights painted the snow on the small hill along the shoulder, although the Aurora was not that well defined here, I felt the painted snow was worth a photo.
Sometimes a photo has to stand on its own without an explanation. This was a really exciting photo, before I read it was nothing but tail lights. :(
I still like it though! :)

It had better NOT be the last. We were right ther back in September and NO blasted Northern Lights. So glad you are sharing the ones you saw with your fellow Hogs. Thanks!

Yes, I was tempted to say "...just before the molten lava broke through the earth's crust..." Thanks for the nice comment.

Thanks for the two thumbs up.
If this is torture, I'll take all you can give. Beautiful.

Thank you for the compliment.
Very interesting photo. The snow looks like tall mountains on fire. Thanks for sharing.
Funny because initially I was thinking let's turn the lights off but In the end I think this was something unusual.
That's a great photo Joe!
