Very nice colors and bokeh. The bird could be a little more in focus. Otherwise a photo well taken.
I agree with the focus. A bit of selective sharpening on the head would make a big difference.
The composition is right on the money.

Nice image, looks like the sharpening helped. One of the things I like to do on shots like this is to use selective saturation and luminescence to 'tone down' the background and make the bird stand out more. In Lightroom, I use the HSL section and click on the little target like icon in the upper left that lets me click in the image on the color I want to affect and move up or down to adjust.
God shot. NIce bokeh. The sharpened head was a help! Was this at the state park near Bentsen Palms in RGV?
