Myvatn (Iceland) Aurora

I was in northern Iceland last week which was enjoying some late winter snowy weather. It was a contrast to Reykjavik which was experiencing an early spring with almost no snow left on the ground. This was a cloudy night but there were some nice displays.

Yes, I wasn't happy with the noise, I need to see if I can decrease it in post processing.

I will never get tired of viewing shots of the aurora. It is quite the natural phenomenon that is always different, yet soothing and very entertaining. Great job. Post more if you have them. I will view them all.

I HATE you! (Just kidding.) No northern lights sightings when we were there and believe me, we stayed up looking most nights. This is an absolutely stunning image. Thank you so much for so generously sharing your images.

I was in Iceland in February 2014 and we had the lights 6 of 8 nights. This year, one night out of eight and I felt blessed to get that.
