I'm sixteen miles from the Pomfret Audubon Sanctuary and flying out to Florida tomorrow for a week! Looking for a heavy duty tripod.....:lol:

Huh! Maybe you have the wrong wife. Mine did that for me about five years ago! I did that for her a couple of years later.

I knew it was coming (she asked what I wanted), I surprised her and she was blown away. She really enjoyed her old Nikon film SLR and didn't relate well to digital P&S type cameras. She wasn't expecting anything significant that Christmas and a DSLR and a couple of lenses caught her completely off balance. Luckily I appeared to hit the target!

I might add that if she wanted to get rid of me, she would order that new camera! She knows that if she did,after 45 years of marriage,that I would more than likely suffer from a cardiac issue. :roll:

That sounds just like my wife. :-D . I told my wife instead of going to Ireland next year I was going to get the canon 400mm 2.8. She put the brakes on quick. :lol: :lol:
