Nice light. Perfect exposure. Nice light. Great composition. Nice light. Lovely colours. Nice light. By the way I really like the light in this image. As a point of interest, were you using auto ISO? If not why use exposure compensation when in manual mode?

Judy,
The manner in which the coarse structure of the distant rocky skyline, and the textures of the FG rocks is accentuated by the dusting of snow is in lovely contrast to the subtle sky colors reflected in the water.
Exposure and Depth of focus cannot be improved.
Composition in panos is tricky, but alternating sky, hills, water, and foreground very effectively keep the eye in the image!
It's an absolutely exquisite image that I admire immensely!

Can't remember when I last saw a 15/15 !!!

I think it's a 20/20in anyone's money Dave ;-)
Great colors on download view. I agree with the expert comments that precede me. What my amateur eye likes: that the clarity and colors are richer in the reflection and that the large snow dusted boulder in the foreground mimics the snow covered mountains in the background.

Thank you.
Just checked what you were talking about. I was shooting full manual. Not sure why the -1 compensation. Must have hit something accidentally. There should not have been any compensation, but I am forever accidentally hitting buttons I shouldn't.

Thank you Graham. It was hard not to come up with something beautiful at this beach that morning.

Thank you for your critique. That beach was gorgeous. We visited it a couple times.

Nicely done Mama!
Thank you Snap Shot. Since this is the critique section what is it that you like about it? Is there anything you would change?
This is exquisite. And it's all about the light. Frankly, without the light in the sky and the water, I'm not sure this would have much interest. For me, this would be a once-in-a-lifetime shot with that light.
Good job!

Judy, this is a very lovely image. You managed to capture the light very well and the exposure captured the colors quite nicely.

Thank you. I think you are correct this is all about the light.
It was probably a once-in-a-lifetime trip for me.
