This is a beautiful time of year in Southern California............California thinks it's Spring! The hills are green and lush looking........soon it will turn to "ugly brown". We must enjoy it while it lasts. These are all best viewed in download mode.

Thanks a bunch Cwilson341 for the nice comment. Unfortunately it will not last........it's interesting what happens with the weather out here: The rain comes down, grows the green brush high, then arsons come along when the brush is brown and dry and start fires burning up the hills, then there are no plants to hold the earth and when it rains again, erosion happens. Right now it's beautiful but not for long!

Same thing here in the Valley of the Sun Brent. Lots of places now are green and beautiful but come summer, at 110 and
115 it turns brown.

You are very welcome hpcon for me posting the photos. The fire roads are the trails coming from Oneil Park, and the single track that the solo rider is going up is called "Vista trail". It's on the other side of Saddleback Mountain from you in the foothills.
