If you have never climbed it, and you are still able, it should be on your bucket list! It's an amazing experience. Thanks for posting the photo to remind me of younger days. It's a somewhat rare day with not to many clouds. With the sea air so close, the mountain creates it's own weather. Thanks SoHillGuy for posting this one.

Beautiful...!!
Were you sitting on your porch with a cup of coffee when you got that shot?
I'm still dreaming of getting out to the northwest someday . . .

Breathtaking, Gaylord. No matter how often I see, I'm still awestruck!

In my 70's I did make some scenic climbs to Pinnacle Saddle, Panorama Point, Reflection Lake loop, and Comet Falls. I never had the desire to challenge myself to hike to Camp Muir, or beyond. One I would have liked to have done is High Point Lookout.

Thanks for your comment and interest.

After a long drive and when I was almost home I found a fairly nice location to take the shot. BTW I already had my one cup of coffee for the day.
Thanks for dropping by.

It is always drawing my attention, one of these days I would like to capture it with a lenticular cloud formation. Thanks for stopping by Linda.
