Canon Pro 100 wireless stopped working

For some unknown reason my Pro 100 will not print wirelessly any more. I have to use the USB cord to get it to print. I may have accidentally changed something but I cannot find out how to get the wireless working again.

I hope somebody can tell me how to get it working.

The most likely reason is that either your computer or the printer is no longer connected to your wifi network. Check both.

Also, sometimes my computer picks up a neighbor's wifi or the local cable wifi. In that case wifi works but will not connect to printer. I must then re-select my own wifi, and all is well.

My computer is connected to the wifi network but I can't seem to find where I check for the printer.

With Win7, Press the Start button and select Computer.
On the Left Pane select Network.
If the printer is connected it will show up at the bottom of the Right Pane. You should at least see your computer and the router as well.
If not seen, I suggest turning off the printer, unplug it, plug it back in and then turn it on.
I timed my Pro 100 to connect to the network within 45 seconds.
Once the printer icon shows up, double click it and get some network info presented to you.

If the driver sw is on your computer (as opposed to using a computer on the network but not the one you loaded the printer sw), then you can right click the printer icon and see if there any files in the cue that should be deleted. You can perform other actions as well.

Thanks for the information TomV. I tried what you suggested but the only thing I got was the window which showed the status of the print cue. I even went into program files and tried to establish a new network but the printer did not come up.

I remember when I first set up the printer it asked if I wanted a wireless connection or a wired connection. Perhaps I did something to disable the wireless connection. Do you know how I can get back to the original setup menu again?

Follow the 2 step process from Canon:

Hope this works!

Thanks for the link ecobin. I went through the process and it said that I was successful. I haven't printed anything yet but I have my fingers crossed. I'll let you know.

My printer now works wirelessly. Thanks for your help. I now longer have to hook up 12 ft. of USB cable every time I want to print.
