It was not a good day at the ...
fish pond...
although it was a pretty day...
Any day fishing beats working!
And of course, that bobber was the fisherman's favorite, in that it was an inheritance from his dad.

so true...
any day photographing is better than a day at work also... :-)
Nice pair that tell a story many of us have lived.
In the second one I might have aimed a little lower to include more water than green, since he is fishing.
I still wish that right now I was in that spot, doing what he was doing.

Here is two other's that I shot....with where I was standing if I had aimed much lower I would have had a bunch of underbrush as I was standing across the pond from him....Tom
The one you posted is the best, and very nice. I was just saying if you had tipped the camera down a little there would have been more water in the foreground and a little less green (and less fence) in the BG.
There is no right or wrong, just a thought.

Glad that you seemed to have great weather anyway, Tom. Went with one of my longtime fishing buddies last Thursday, and the strong wind almost blew us off the water, but a great day, and was very glad to be fishing once more with him, as he has been very ill and had doubts that we would ever fish together again! Take care!
