I'm Lew, and I've just joined the forum. I'm looking forward to some friendly give-and-take on a shared interest. I've been into photography since buying my first Nikkormat during the Vietnam War but I never took the time and effort to get good at it. I use a very basic Nikon D-60, not for the price and features but mostly because it can use all the old Nikon F-mount lenses collected over the years. I learned early on to appreciate manual settings so it in not an inconvenience. The old lenses are heavy but have superb glass.
Vulture in a dust storm. Yep, it's Yuma!
Lew,
First, welcome.
Second, Thank you for your service.
Third, WOW. Sharp focus, action stopped at a very unusual and interesting point of the flight, exposure is great.
If this is cropped at all you might want to leave a bit of empty space to the left of the frame for the subject to "fly into". Although this is one where centering the subject is NOT a crime.
thanks.. Rocco
Stunning, thanks for sharing.
This is one of my favorite birds. You have done a great job of capturing this one.
Terrific detail in this old bird. Nicely done.
Really nice, crisp and interesting.
It does not get any better thatn this. Wonderful shot. I should be so lucky.
