Perhaps purposely dark? Can't find context for the casual viewer?

I like the composition a lot. Looks like a really good subject for b&w. Just as personal preference, I'd like to see a few tweaks to bring out more white, and perhaps more details in the shadows. It's all quite flat and "gray" right now. What program do you use for converting?

Would you like to see some alternatives? Post a larger size color for us to work on?

I don't have PS, but I tried again in Analog Efex Pro 2. I haven't experimented much with B/W so I appreciate your input/critique.
