My sweet, kind, dear friend. The pictures are as great as you're feeding and helping these beautiful creatures to survive, with a little luxury. I take my hat off to you. Is there corn in the trough, or is it water. Maybe if you put down their favourite food, as well as water, they maybe woud stay longer. But what do I know ? you are our dear, deer experienced Lady. Morning Graham, and Happy Easter.
I had bought the trough for Hev. Fat lot of good it did - she'd pull her hay out of it to eat it on the ground.
So it now sets empty.
The Deer spend a lot of time here when they come thru- just gnawing on the weeds and grass and then bedding down for a rest.
Looking forward to summer when they are here longer for the shade of the pines and ready water when they are thirsty.
