The libturds never mention how much the "free" healthcare is in these countries.

Article summation.
"In short, it's true Denmark's taxes are far higher than those in the United States, but that's offset by significantly reduced costs to citizens for expenditures such as healthcare, education, and child care. A gallon of gas doesn't cost Danes anywhere near $10, but tax on new cars is 180%. We were unable to find any ranking of Denmark as the "highest-taxed" nation in the world (or even just Europe), and home ownership rates are near what they are in the U.S. (There are far more privately-owned vehicles in the United States than Denmark, however.) Denmark's suicide rate is lower than that of the U.S., and antidepressant usage is higher among Americans. Finally, while some young Danes moved abroad due to high taxes on income, we were unable to find any evidence that was the case for companies."
Sounds almost like life in the military when I joined in the 60's.
They provided food, clothing, medical care,housing.....and gave me a gross pay of $88 per month for my personal use.
No money, but the essentials were covered. :-)
Gee I got all that and lived on $68.00 a month.

problem with socialism it that it ultimately can't work. It is Utopian. There has never been a long standing utopian system. it's a fraud. It has been run by a dictatorship. While it can be successful in small countries (such as Denmark) for a time. it must be inflicted on a large population society. In large population socialist countries the ruling class live luxurious lives while the masses live like peasants. In China. N.Korea. Soviet union and others the vast numbers of the population live in the 19th century. . In the US if the Gov confiscated 100% of the wealthiests Net worth, it would run the Gov. for about 6 months, then there is nothing left.

Thanks for the fact check. You saved me a little time.
I dont know that i would characterize this as mostly bulls**t (the Snopes rating was mixture) but it certainly has a high bulls**t component.
The underlying message is certainly meant to mis-lead and for the people who can only manage to think in overly simplistic terms or dont care to look at the underlying data, it is mission accomplished.
But we see a lot of that here in the Attic, dont we? Par for the course.
Rac and SBW--if you are reading this, you may now call me a liar. Dont forget to include your standard issue insults and vulgarity.

Actually it was mostly true, more t***h than fiction in the post, if you look at the taxes they are significant, 8% of income before the income taxes of 41 to 52% and then you pay a 25% consumption tax on everything you purchase. It is true that the figures were off on home and car ownership as well as suicide rates... Big freakin deal, the post was mostly true.
