19104 Loc: Philadelphia

i recently came across a company Leitax, that makes a neat little adapter that will allow me to use My Leica R lens in Manual mode on my Nikon D800E. http://www.leitax.com/leica-lens-for-nikon-cameras.html here is my query. I am wondering if any one else has done this or has ever used R Leica lens converted to Nikon F mount. And please spare me the opinions of anyone who has not done it. Or the naysayers who cant understand why I would want to do this. I already own the Leica R glass and i was thinking of using them with the D800E for there outstanding qualities.

I have used the photodiox to adapt Nikon AI lenses to the A 12 Leica lens mount for a Ricoh GXR -- works great. I have used several different lenses successfully. Not particularly expensive, either. Reverse of what you want to do but...a testimonial
