Just be happy that you have made its day ! After all, all critters need sustenance and I should think that you will end up feeling good about yourself for taking care of the little rascals needs ! :):)

Think not that the squirrel is robbing your bird feeder, but give thought to how the squirrel must constantly deal with surviving outdoors amid the elements, how it has to fend for itself, and how at any moment a bird of prey can swoop down from above and end its life. In other words just think about life for the squirrel, or lives for all other wild critters, because with certainly, lives for them are never easy lives to endure. Take pride in knowing that your kindness is your way of helping nature's wild creatures to survive.

My wife witnessed a Bald Eagle with two fledges taking a rabbit home for dinner. Yes, that squirrel could be a meal soon, so let him have his ill-gotten food!

He's the cutest bandit I've ever seen, brent46, but I know they can get annoying sometimes.
