This is my garden spider I say my because he's in my yard, I found him by walking into his web in the dark, hate when that happens,I took this photo at night with a Sony cyber-shot using my flash you can see his shadow on the fence, he's hoping you stop by and stick around for dinner, and also a couple other critter pics
Hi, Hi , Hi said the spider to the fly
The flowers a bit fuzzy, but so is the bee
This monarch is a little beat up from a long migration
See.....Howie said the word Spider but it could have been shown in many different ways ie., a bird getting a worm, a monkey getting a banana etc etc But Nooooooo I clicked it anyway...
Aaaargghhhhh it was a BIG SPIDER right there in front of me.
Remind me not to walk in the yard at night now.

Believe me Sarge a face full of web in the dark is not nice, the first thing that comes to mind is Where is the Spider!

You guys made me laugh. The photos are wonderful, Howie. Love the detail.
These are all very nice. I really like the spider. I have yet to shoot one that came out this good.

Hello Country's Mama, to be honost that was a lucky shot in the dark.
Great shots! Walking in to a spider web at night would turn me in to a instant Ninja Master.
Nice shots and very vibrant on the monarch. You may be overexposing, oversaturating or WB off since all your whites are getting washed out. Just a thought......
Was a fun visit to your backyard with spidey and the clear, fuzzy bee and butterfly.
