I have an old school Nikon 80-200 2.8 that I want to sell for $500 shipped or trade for the 80-200 2.8D which would fit my TC-20E III. That price is shipped to your door for the lower 48. I will post photo's but if I can't, email me your address and I'll get them to you. I retire, again, in 70 days and will purchase the 70-200 and be done with it. Thanks, Gean
Sorry to tell you, but NONE of the 80-200mm "D" lenses will work with that TC. Nikon did make an AF-S 80-200mm F2.8 that will work with it though, but you NEED the AF-S designation to work with that TC.
Thanks for the input. I think I'll just go ahead and buy another 70-200. I had one a couple years ago and sold it prior to my shoulder surgery and am now ready to get another. Thanks again. Now while we're on the subject, can you and the others recommend an upgrade for a camera ? I've had the Nikon D90 for 6 years and want a full frame to match the 24-70 that I have and the 70-200 that I'm about to buy. I kinda like the Nikon D750.

You would be hard pressed to beat the D750 for total value. There is good reason it has been named camera of the year by three different ratings outlets.

Thanks Guys, I had my eye on the D610 until the D750 showed up. Now I'll have to do a side by side comparison. I think I have an excuse for the wife. She told me that my daughter wants to take a photography class next semester and she'll need a camera. Can you see where I'm going with this?
