Does this work with the closer edge blurred?

Ah, my friend. Let me tell ya". It is fine. Just fine. In fact it is a very beautiful photo. The slight blur does not bother me at all. Others will say that it detracts from the overall image. So what? If you were using a tripod, you could have stacked this with 2 or 3 shots. Big deal. I like it.

Not too shabby! Your Exif does not display aperture, so I cannot comment on DOF. I like image. I also like that you recognize possibility of increasing DOF.

Works for me. With the back edge focused it funnels your eye right into the center of the flower. I also really like the nice soft colors and lighting. Nice shot.

Thank you. I have some where the front edge is in focus, but I didn't like them as much as I did this one. Maybe I will try some focus staking with this flower. I have never done it before, and I will have to clean off my computer to have room for the program. I will have to look to see if there are any free or inexpensive ones out there.

Thank you. Once again, even though I said I was going to do it, I did not write down the aperture. I get so caught up in shooting I forget about writing it down. I am almost positive it was 22, that is usually where I start and this was quite dark post pp. I opened it up later and increased ISO trying to be able to use natural light instead of flash. Those were really shallow and noisy.

Thank you. I believe this was shot with my Dart diffuser, as opposed to my Bounty diffuser, as my Gary Fong diffuser has been put on indefinite back order. :?

P.S. - The Narcissus is the perfect flower to represent macro-photographers.
