Beautiful on the download. I love the composition, the contrast of the precise squared lines, surfaces and angles of the cabin against the riot of boulders it sits upon and among makes for a photo that captures the attention. Thanks for sharing this and your other beautiful photo of the seaside.

That looks so cold it makes me shiver and it's 85 degrees here! It's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. It's very grey. I'm not saying it's a bad image. It's a really good image. It's just not a place I'd want to spend very much time!

Is that Ness's cousin?

Thank you for your thoughts.
It was grey most of the time that we were there, but still beautiful. I spent three weeks there and it was too short. The temperature there was moderate in this location. Most of the time it was in the 30's. I was never uncomfortable while there, but I live in Michigan so it wasn't anything new.

Excellent on download. Nice use of hyperfocality, and capture of the clouds just surmounting the mountains' crests. Good depth. The limited chromatic spectrum conveys a sense of a dour, severe existence ...explaining, perhaps, the imperative behind the "Viking expansion"????

Thank you Dave. Dour and severe it was but also extremely beautiful.

Simply beautiful! Just like the Norwegian coast. Very nice capture of the mountain punching up through the cloud. Perhaps I will take my next Hurtigruten trip in the winter. Did you see the Aurora?

Thank you. We saw it here as well as in Kirkenes and on the ship.
