Great shots! Wish I could see one around me, these are great!
Beautiful shots of him, Corky. I've seen one here only once in all the years I've lived here.
Thanks for the kind words, Bob and appreciate you looking!
These are so beautiful Corky and so glad you were able to shoot them, and how lucky that you heard their song!!!
I love orioles... I actually have marked on my calander to put out the jelly and oranges at the end of April!!! Many years ago we had a nest hanging almost over our pool, we heard lots of chirping and noticed the parents didn't come back for the babies.... well, the little ones jumped out of the nest, thankfully not in the pool!! I got to hand feed them for a few days and then found a rehab that would take them. I'll never forget that experience!!
So enjoy your sightings and their beautiful song and hope they hang around longer for you!! Put out grape jelly and oranges!

Beautiful shots Corky.
Can you loan him to us for a short time in May?
Pierre
Thanks for the kind words, Pierre and don't know if he's just passing through, or has a destination in mind, but sure wish one would make it up your way, as they are so beautiful! This is a first for us and he is feeding on suet dough and dried mealworms in two separate hangers. I had read that they really liked fruit, so cut a orange into half and attached it to a homemade wire hanger, but he seems to completely ignore it! Thanks again and take care!

What a beauty, excellent captures. :D
Thanks for the kind words and smiley face, Sylvia, and sure hope that he decides to stay. We have viewed him for about the last three days and if I can retrieve Bella from that area, where she is just standing and barking , perhaps he may visit us again! I guess you guys are just about on you way home, and your posts were great. Take care!

What a great opportunity. The bird is beautiful and you got some very good shots! I don't think I have ever seen one.
Thanks very much, Carol and is a first for us, and like you said, so very beautiful. It has been here fore the last few days and would love for it to nest in the area. Take care!
