Hi Folks, had the delight of hearing Bill Anderson at the Grand Ole Opry House sing his song about how much fun he has getting places. I tell you...it nearly had me rolling on the floor. What a great attitude to have.
Here's a link to the song and enjoy my picture...!

Bill Anderson sure has a good time getting places
Lot of us can look back and reflect on how we got here. After eighty years there is a lot of looking back, some good some not so good.
Bill Anderson was at Grand Old Opry night before last, as was I, along with six other guys celebrating our 75th birthday this year. Sure enjoyed his singing this song. Brittany Spears made a surprise appearance to introduce her sister, Jamie Lynn, and you have thought St. Paul had walked in to a religious convention. I've never seen so many iPhones up in the air in my life!
Enjoyed Nashville: a pretty and very clean city.
Thanks for that James. Never heard it before. Think I'll get mine out and start wearing it.

Yes, I was there the same night with a church group. I also remember the loud applause folks from Texas got when they announced there were Texans in the house. Glad you had to good time. Come back an see us again sometime. Below is a link to the pictures I took that night at the Opry House in case you want to look at a few.

Wondeful to know, smiles sure are good medicine John.
I don't even bother listening to country & western anymore. I'm from the generation of Jim Reeves, Charlie Pride, Faron Young, Conway Twitty, Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash, Roy Clark, Dolly Parton, The Carter Family, Whalon Jennings, etc. What I'm hearing now on the C&W stations is music that sounds like Rap & Rock. And the R&R music has morphed into nothing but noise and no talent singers covering up their no talent with light shows and a whole lotta banging away on strung up toilet seats attached to state of the art speakers. I'm sure there a lot out there who do not agree with my assessment of the road music has taken in the past 30 years or so, but, it's how it sounds to me.
Good stuff as always, James. Nice job on the photo!

I totally agree...music coming out today sucks big time. That's why I still listen to the old stuff. We're lucky they still play much of the classic country on the radio here.

Thanks Randy...truthfully mine are amateurish, I've seen the pro's images here, but I do great amateurish stuff and might proud of it too.
