Has anyone tried out the two-camera cotton carrier vest? If so, what are the pros and cons. Is anyone interested in selling their
two camera vest?

not interested in selling . I find its great although to be truthful I have never used it with two cameras. I suppose if I ever was brave enough to shoot a wedding it would be great to have two cameras with two different lenses on. I use it a lot when travelling and it frees up your hands and no one can easily steal your camera from you

I purchased one from B&H and when it arrived (& this info is for Mark & Jim Bob) "By big brown truck", I sent it back. Even the plastic packaging it came in seemed entirely too damned CHEAP. When I opened it the shipping device scared me. B&H, refunded my money. Sorry, it just seemed Flimsy to me.RJM

You will find a lot of information on the Cotton Carrier by just using the forums search function. They are built like a tank, really rugged and well worth the price. I am not sure about the cheap plastic comment, as it is far from that. I believe the camera would brake before the carrier.

I have one. It's excellent, but I seldom use it. You can buy a refurbished 2 camera vest system for $95. Here's the link:

I have had one for 5 years and use it a great deal. I enjoy walking and have a canon 100-400 and found it a great help in keeping the weight off my neck. I have carried 2 cameras a number of times when I wanted to look for wildlife with my 100-400, but also wanted my 18-55 for scenery or close up and didn't want to change lens when outside. A great tool for the out door person. I have recommended it to a number of friends and glad I have mine.

Thanks for posting that... I have wanted to try one of these for a while, but the price was putting me off a bit. At half price, it's worth a chance. Just placed my order!

I love mine - but rarely use it with two cameras - though I will use the second belt clip to carry a lens with a tripod collar with no camera attached.

No complaints in 2 yrs of ownership.

I use the much cheaper variant, Opteka, that I got from Amazon. Yes, it looks kinda geeky, but when you're 78 years young, it's all about practicability and to hell with those who are into just lookin' good. I like it a lot and it has the option of using an included second detachable 'holster'. I commonly carry my 5d mk3 with a 100-400 mk1 for hours while hiking in the woods with good wife and generally feel rested when we return home. I attached a carabiner on the left side where I hang a monopod when needed. I think the chest carry concept is a good one. Haven't used it with the second holster yet, but have attached the second one onto a chest cross-strap on my Canon backpack when needed. The whole thing is very well made and sturdy. I'd definitely recommend it. John

I've had mine for over 5 years and it has traveled the world, Peru, Africa, US and of course Canada, with me and I love it. Yes some people look at you like you were from Mars but others (with sore necks and backs) have that envious look in their eyes. I also have the lens pouch addition placed on the left hip. I watch all those cameras swinging, up, down and all around and mine stays tight to the body. Best investment for carrying camera equipment I own and I do have many bags, straps, clips etc. but the CC vest is most used. I would also say that after the first couple weeks watching and tightening the lugs I have not had to do it for years but I keep checking every now and then.

My only con is that when I have the camera/grip and 70-200 on my chest and am hiking down a shale path or set of stairs my vision is impaired for the 2-3 feet right in front of me, forcing me to turn and walk at an angle. But that's a small price to pay.

They are an excellent company. I'm sure their refurbished listings are much like Canon's. Just like new.

I have the cotton carrier holster system. Really love it. I've tried other systems and this one is easily the best.
