Received an email this morning from Canon that they have restocked some refurbished cameras and lenses. I had to look, I purchased a refurbished Canon 7D Mark II. I have always had great luck with cameras and lenses refurbished by the Canon factory. I hope this is no exception. Happy St. Patrick's Day to me!

Sorry to tell you this but you could buy new and get a new printer from B&H for $1199 dollars after a mail in rebate. (Nothing wrong with refurbished as I have bought that way when I got my 7D.) The printer is either their pro 10 or 100. Not sure and it prints 13X17 inches....Rich

Congratulations. I love mine. If you want to get the best out of it, prepare for a relatively steep learning curve depending on what you're upgrading from. The 7 AF modes and 6 AI Servo shooting cases take an effort to understand and are not fully described in the full manual. In fact the manual itself that comes with the camera, big as it is isn't the full manual , which runs 550 page, all in English.

Enjoy your new purchase. If you haven't had the opportunity to play with one you'll find the 7D2 is a very different experience than the 70D in terms of its feel in the hand and the controls. I also have a 60D, which is physically almost identical to the 70D, and going back and forth between it and the 7D2 is like night and day.

I also upgraded from the 60D but our needs are different I guess as I rarely miss the articulating screen.
