A different take on the toy dragon I did previously.

I like that background for it. One thought, have the horizon be lower, might make dragon look larger (since we would be looking up at it then).

Great colors, content and dof for background. Love Piet's suggestion. Don't want to be viewing it "straight on."

I absolutely agree about shooting the dragon from a lower angle - I will try that next time. As the figure is very small (about the size of my thumb), I will need to dig a hole to place the camera into, or create a mound for the figure in order to get that low angle. Or find a larger figure!

LOL - I thought for sure the background was post-process. And just meant to have it stretched to fit. I was thinking you did a great job blending the ground with the ground of a different image. Yeah, getting a photo like that might be tough - unless you find a hole to be in!

The colors are surreal; but then again, so are dragons. I think it would be more engaging if the angle were not straight from the side. Maybe if the dragon were turned slightly and coming toward us. The lower you can get for this shot, the better.

Thank you, Linda. I intentionally boosted the colors, and I even "painted" the dragon green and purple in editing. It was incredibly fun creating this fantasy image.

The background is the original, color-shifted. But using a separate background and blending it in with the figure is a great idea, and could look great!
