Gives new meaning to "burning rubber"!!
Thirty to fourty years ago in Minnesota jumping with snow mobiles as well as running them in municipalities was a lot more prevalent than it is now. Accidents and the associated injuries have caused so many new laws that the only place that allows them openly is northern Minnesota and lakes. Personally I don't like them for the noise they make and inconsiderate operators who often use them. Many locations only allow them on designated snowmobile trails which are sponsored and maintained by snowmobile clubs. A lot of property owners have learned to dislike them because they have been sued by operators injuring themselves on land owners properties even though they didn't have permission to be there. Those that give permission, just open themselves up to law suits if injuries happen on their property. I've even been told by snowmobilers to remove fences operators though were unsafe to them even though I wouldn't give them permission to be there. Sorry, but that how I feel about (many but not all) snowmobilers.
Street legal? But I guess is you are desperate, any old thing will do. Ha! Ha!
Don't think I'd want to be the next owner of that machine!

"Certifiable" anywhere!
We have far too many of these idiots in Canada! And a few end up as quadriplegics or decapitating themselves every winter...

It can happen anywhere Leon. Back in the 70's, a kid was running a snowmobile and went up the driveway of one of the jr. hi. schools in Pontiac and didn't see the chain.
