Hi All, I have a Nikon D610 (used 2 weeks), Extra battery and charger and all cords; a Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens with original box, lens caps and soft bag (bag still in plastic), and hood; Nikon 50mm prime, caps and hood with original box. Nikon replaced my D600 during the time I was checking out the new Sonys. Fell in love with the Sony, kept the D610 for back up but I find I never use it anymore. So if anyone is interested, Im asking $2000.00 US plus shipping for all the above. Planning on going all Sony.
Hi. Since I am in the market for a new camera, it would interest me as to why you are switching to Sony from Nikon. I don't want to spend what your equipment is worth, but your view would be helpful. Thanks.

I am a Nikon shooter and a Canon shooter for sports. I have many outstanding prime lenes, but my new favorite is the Fuji X cameras. I have 2 used bodies and 5 used lenses, all purchased on the Fuji Forum website. I shoot people so I have the 28, 85f1.2 & the 135 f2. Those 2 cameras and 3 lenses in a Small bag weigh less than my Nikon 810 with the 85 f1.4!!! With the face AND the eye detection, my portraits are always in sharp focus. That' s where the mirror less cameras shine. My Nikons will not give me that critical sharpness in a high percentage of shots. ( The depth of field wide open might be only half an inch, and I want the eyes tack sharp). The light weight of the Fujis, coupled with their superb workmanship make them the 21 first century Leicas.
Sony also makes an outstanding mirror less, but the size & weight of the Fujis with their half sensor sold me. Carrying cameras is fun again.

I love the weight of the Sony mirrowless cameras. The electronic view finder and LCD is awesome. The super fast focusing is fantastic and the high ISO without noise is very useful. I also broke my wrist a year ago and the weight of my Nikon with a heavy lens causes too much camera shake and I dont want to use a tripod all the time.
I used the Sony at first for causal photography and it was great, then I saw other photographers using it for weddings and sport and tried my hand at it. I was very impressed. Because of the compactness of the Sonys, I started leaving my Nikon behind more and more. Now I never use it.
Is the 50mm AF-S?
The price is good even if it is AF but if AF-S the combined price is even better.

Im pretty sure its the Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Lens with Auto Focus. I will double check that when I get home from work and get back to you.

Thanks. I was just helping you to highlight that because it is a much more valuable lens than the AF. I think it alone is about $500 new. And the 28-300 is about $1,000.
Hi, I think you may be confused on how much the lens (Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G) is worth as in the UK it is around £150.00 NEW. Also looking on USA sites its around $190.00 NEW.

You are right. Sorry, I was thinking of the f1.4.

Can you share what Fuji X bodies did you get? I keep thinking about Fuji for a while now. Thank you.
Time to start a new thread to sell your camera. This has gone off track. It somtimes happens. I suggest you unwatch this and try over.
