Traded my old Canon AE1 program, its lenses and my Canon t3i 18-55 mm for the Canon 24-105 l lens. (Still wasn't nearly enough to cover the new lens). Oh well.

Following are the first photographs that I took with the new lens. Wow! what a difference from my 18-55.

I am amazed at that Man's wisdom. He had faults like all of us but what an incredible mind.

I have a 17-40 L that I also love. I probably should have went with your choice though I'm not sure what L glass was available when I got te 17-40. Anyway, have a blast with the new lens. :thumbup:
