I have three of them, and I have had a lot of great shots taken by them.. I bought step up and step down rings and have used them on my still shot cameras and my video camera... It will most certainly open up a large area of new perspective...

I do not know why you wanted them for, but you can have a blast with them.. They will focus right down to a half inch.. and put giant size noses on people or pets..

Interesting lens. For future posts please use a topic line that is more descriptive such as "Add on fisheye lens for Canon camera."

I don't want this to sound too critical, but, I had to read through your post three times (very slowly) to get the message. Please help us "English only" members by using capital letters, punctuation and proper spelling.

Wow! That's pretty harsh. I don't think anyone insists that you be an English major but posts are much easier to understand when there is punctuation.

I'm sorry all of those people were so critical.

As to your question, be concerned about lens quality. I don't know anything about the construction of these lens. Also, when I looked at the pictures from the samples the didn't look like the 8mm Canon lens I once rented. However, I don't know what camera they were taken on. If it was a crop frame then they would be different than my full frame. You would have to multiply the focal length by about 1.5. So an 8mm fisheye would give a field of view of about 12mm, which isn't a full fisheye.

I must say to LuckyLori please don't be discouraged or upset by anyone's comments about your post. The vast majority of members here are very helpful, nice people who truly want to help others. Just like in life there are those that feel they must criticize every little thing. Try and enjoy this site for it's intended purpose. I'm not an English major and that's fine with me. Good luck with your photography.

Hopefully you'll learn to ignore the Grammar Police {and there are a few worse than you've already encountered :hunf: !!} that lurk here and post a few photos with that lens in the Gallery :-)
.
Just curious -I assume the lens is a Fixed prime (no zoom) and ?Manual Focus? - - let us know, and how it works for you.
