Hi guys. I'm generally one of the silent majority and UHH is no exception. I've been lurking here for going on to three years, I guess. I mostly read, and never voice my disagreements or get involved in conversations unless I'm sure of where I stand...just conservative I guess. I read some seriously incorrect and nasty comments, and I'd rather not be involved in those conversations. But I thought I'd finally send a hello to all of those kind and good folks who have lent some of their wisdom to those other watchers who are interested in real information and none of the negative stuff that some seem to thrive upon. Thanks for the welcome guys. I gotta say that many of you have been very helpful in growing my knowledge and increasing the possibilities of my creating ever better photos. I especially like to look at other folk's photo postings and study the EXIF data to see how they did it, and then decide what I would have done to make it even better. John

Hey, J that's some bird you got there, anywhere near Duluth and Hawks Ridge. The spring migration has started. They have a web page that tells about events and other raptor stuff, plus an email updater on raptor counts. Some have described the good camera days as looking like an artilliary esplanade. I'm down in Mpls.

Mmmm...I've been reading this site for quite awhile, and I see the nastiness that sometimes erupts from troubled minds, and I will never be a part of it by simply give it the credit it is due by scrolling past those offending avatars.
