Sent in My D750 on Thursday (recall shutter): It hurts to send it off to LA, but has anyone sent their off for the recall and gotten their camera back? Was the turnaround fast?

sent mine off on Monday afternoon, was contacted by Nikon on Friday morning that they had received it. I look for them to have it for about a week, then another week for ups to get back to me.

I sent both my personal body and one of my rentals off because they were both in the serial number range. After testing, neither of them needed any repairs. Both were thoroughly cleaned and calibrated, and they replaced the rubber grips on both of them as well. They came back looking brand new and the turn-around was 11 days for the pair. UPS ground shipping was 4 days each way which accounted for the majority of the time away.

I mailed mine on Wednesday and, after watching UPS tracking, saw that UPS delivered it on Friday morning. That's all so far.

I sent mine out for the flare problem to NY a while back and it was back to me in less than 10 days. Thankfully, This latest problem doesn't cover my serial number.

One was involved in the recall, and that's with Nikon. I still have the other one for shooting.

Thanks, I sent mine in last week. I did not get the e-mail so I called and they emailed me what I needed. UPS got it there the next day from San Diego, Ca till waiting.
