Now that is priceless, a really engaging shot. There will no doubt be some who will want to crop to the left of the tree but I certainly wouldn't. The tree serves to prevent your eye from wandering out of the pic as you explore the details in the shop behind, it directs you back to the guys face, then you follow his line of sight and his body language... into the box. The title is perfect and the pic hooks me because I really want to know what was in the box.

Nice street capture Bob. Shots like this always leave me wondering about the character behind the make up. Like is this just a day job so he changes in Mr Normal at night shoots pool and has a beer with his buddies or does he stay in character?

Thank you very much, Peter. As for the contents of the box, mostly balloons, magic tricks, and miscellaneous odds and ends used with the tricks.

Billy, Cabbie the Clown, in real life is a dispatcher for a local cab company. He does this during his spare time. Always a pleasant persona, loves entertaining anyone walking by. I gave him a 5x7 print of this image, which he appreciated.

Thanks, Treepusher. As with most street photography, it's a matter of catching the scene when it happens.
I'm not sure if he has his clothes custom made. I'm sure that wasn't an off the rack selection.
