Remember the cave paintings of prehistoric France and Spain? Did you know what I found in the old fortress tunnel atop the hill protecting San Francisco Bay? It was completely dark in the tunnel and I just pointed my camera up at the blackness, and this is what I found:

So please make sure you consider everything when you visit strange places...take a chance. I had to ASK what a keeper had in his gloved hand...
