Tolf you I'd be back...here is today's and yesterday's

Below zero this morning and your sprouts look good!
Thanks, RR for getting everyone off and running.
Been a picture poor week for me. Life crowding in. Am sure no one else has that problem. Ha!
My Valentine rose finally met it's demise last week
Had been doing "bubbles" with the boys at sunset last week
Most bubble shots didn't turn out so I turned them into something else.
For RR - looked and saw icicles hanging from an old maple tree. They were "sapsicles" - ice with a maple flavor. There are several on this branch

My allergy doctor says I should seek another location to live, other than the Midwest. It was 68 degrees here today. Rain expected all next week with temps in the mid 50's to mid 60's.
Re- posting the March calendar and info for the Stars/Star Trails coming up. Catgirl has one coming up on animals. See an animal, shoot - with your camera. Have a clear or almost clear night? Try getting some night sky.
Many of you likely "shoot" on the weekends and, if challenge time comes and the weather is crummy, you won't be able to give this a "go"
If you use the "search" on UHH you will find there is an Astronomical Photography forum which is very interesting. Here are 2 other UHH links chosen because their images and instructions. One talks about gear and set up. There are many You Tube tutorials and articles. I would encourage you to try this. It is fun, sometimes frustrating, but the results can be very rewarding. I am learning a lot preparing for this challenge:
UHH links:
http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-170656-1.html images, instructions
http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-111393-1.html helpful links, FAQs,gear
http://youtu.be/Ev88oj7rQtg a 12 minute YouTube that is very complete from start to finish. Presenter uses the free software stacker StarStaX (for Mac and Windows and it is what I use. You can also "stack" in photoshop.
I highly recommend this video.

Pat, I really like #2 bubbles. Grandkids are such fun. I hear you about this being a picture poor week. I couldn't stand it any longer, and grabbed the camera this morning in search of anything that stirred my interest. Then went to work... UGH! Work really gets in my way.

Tomorrow 68 deg are predictede here too. 33 in the morning and 35 in the afternoon
Well look what happened, one and all,
March blew in and posted twice for y'all
Guess that means we have no reason
Not to shoot and snap for the "almost spring" season.

Thanks, Sunny. Then when I think I have some time to shoot, poof - the time disappears.

You are so right!
Really enjoyed your double post. I had to do a double take to make sure nothing changed during March.

Burrrrrrr! You might start to melt in the afternoon.
Although I'd take 33 and 35 over negative numbers any day of the week.
