Rarely do I get wrapped up in a video but I got a laugh and an education.
Really good and humorous narration.

Thanks for the comments.
It was a video that came up after one I watched (didn't actually look for it).
It really pulled me in to the point that I had to continue.
My other half is Japanese and she loved it and bookmarked.

If history was presented like that in High School, I'd have learned something!

Having lived in Nagoya, Japan for ten months in 1987 while in "training" for my job with Mitsubishi Motors, they gave us a book with their version of Japanese history. Interestingly enough, it was very similar to this video. While there, we visited most of the places mentioned in the video. The one thing that the video did not mention, however, was that the Japanese all worship several religions. Most follow budhism but all follow a religion that predates all "modern" religions. It is called Shinto. It is a religion that honors the land much like Native Americans' Great Spirit.

Did you all see the picture of Donald Trump at about 4:00. In the middle of the episode where the Shogun left his son in charge of 5 associates.
