Meadowlark on a barbed wire fence

I have seen Meadowlarks all my life but usually on the ground or in flight. I had no idea their feet look like talons!

Wow! He is in need of a pedicure! I never knew they had feet like that either and I see them every day. Great shot. Cheers.

Great set I am still trying to get that good shot on a fence or on the post. Also I didn't know their feet looked that way. Thanks for sharing. Dennis

Excellent set! When I was a youngster we had what we called a broomstraw field and the Meadowlarks were thick in it, as I remember, but it has been many years since I have seen one, Chuck. Thanks!
