I got Charlotte Lowrie field manual today and after about one half hour of interrupted studying on and off I finally connected the dots and successfully configured and put the dots together and and I am getting some of things figured out. I was not going to the quick menu to select the settings I wanted. In Canons manual or the videos on you tube or others did the make it clear that you had to go to quick menu to change the settings. I suppose that they assume that we know to do that.
Again thanks to every one and maybe I am on my way. It was frustrating at times on this old brain.
