I have been on a lot of cruise ships and no way would a describe these huge floating cities a "beautiful" some are downright ugly.
I have already been on a cruise this year which sailed out of Havana and back on the MSC Musica, another ugly ship.
The most beautiful things I saw in Havana were the old US cars left behind when Americans were kicked out by Castro.
It does not stop me cruising though I have two more booked this year one to Norway and one to the Adriatic.
no, i will post more in a few days, as I"m a bit under the weather.....

Hi Lone Ranger,
Nice shots, and I'm glad you enjoyed your cruise. Isn't the Anthem of the Seas the ship that got beaten up a few weeks back off the southeastern coast? I hope you were not on that one :D.
I question your description of that big a cruise ship as "beautiful"; I know it's all in the eye of the beholder, but those new ships are just too big and two crowded with too many people on them.
Some years ago my wife and I have taken several cruises and have decided never to use ship that had a capacity of more that 2000 people max. Our best cruise was on the old Homeric that had a capacity of about 1500 as I recall (she's now the Westerdam, but enlarged); we were lucky--on our cruise there were only 900 people  !
BTW I lived in Bayside until my teens and we were married at Ft. Totten. Probably best not to re-visit; things have probably changed too much.

What did you like about the P900 and did you find some drawbacks?
