I don't see why, a lot of small markets are "artisan" with more unusual products. You can buy Brioche in most supermarkets in the UK and Ireland. It would be fresher at this market.

By "this crowd" I assume you mean UHH members? :-)
I only ask because where the picture was taken is the home of many brioche eating "high-brow" folk.
