German boys take over a Jeep - 1947

Two years after the Nazi government fell, the U.S. Army relaxed its Occupation rules and officially allowed soldiers and civilians to mingle (which they had been doing any way), These German kids were watching their bigger brothers learn how to play baseball while they "occupied" a soldier's Jeep.

Good image, Richard.
I especially like that you took a low perspective on this one, elevating even more the kids' surmounting of the jeep.

Thank you, Dave. The joy of using a twin-lens reflex like the Rolleiflex is the ease in selecting low or high perspectives without having to sprawl on the ground or teeter on chairs.
