The Seaside postcard shot

Aw cum'on surely we are all allowed one every now and again. Nutin arty farty just a pretty English scene. Avoid the strange desire to turn it BW or up the contrast or evil beyond evil give it a dousing of Topaz etc.
So just presented as is, a slice of Merry Olde England hopefully well captured and nicely treated to a small splash of Photoshop cologne.

The small splash was just right Mr. Spad. Still not sold on your frames.....don't know if it's the color choices in genreal or the frame itself, but the light blue on this one pulls my eye from the photo.

The shadows were always a problem for me R.G. but even worse when Cliff fronted them. I just gotta hear the first line of Bachelor Boy to start feeling queasy!!!
The shadows on the snap I did notice but they did not bother me. Just natural lighting and effects of.
Trust all is well North of the Border my friend and thank you for calling by

Billy, this is really sharp front to back and colors, tones and composition are spot on. Well done.

It's probably just me, but the pale "washed-out" look of the mat/frame transfers to the photo. I think a bolder frame would make the photos colors pop more without touching them. As usual, the composition, IMO, is great.

Nice photo, Billy I really like this work you've presented here. Also, I like the soft blue border; I don't think it distracts at all. It would if it were darker, but as it is, it's merely complimentary.

This business of matting color seems a hard road to tread my friend. One cannot seem to please all. A bit like life really.
Thank you for commenting John always glad to see you
