FYI, spotlighting wildgame is illegal in many states (don't know about yours) and I'd check regulations for your area. The law generally applies whether you wish to physically harm the animal or not and regardless of if you are in possession of a weapon or not. Checking your state's regulations could save a hefty fine.

My dogs were going wild so I knew someone or something was out there.

I must have taken 30 shots, but most were blurry. The deer only looked my way for a moment then went back to munching on the grass.
