I ran across this while doing research on a lens. Anyone familiar with the product? Apparently it has has an effect on the electromagnetic field generated by the sensor. Personally I don't think I would zap my sensor. LOL! I'm sure that's not the case and I really didn't study the ad that close yet. I'm going to look at it closer this PM.

I have seen them at Adorama, but at $150 a pop for a glorified Rocket blower I will pass. Good luck if you buy it, and please do a review. Who knows, maybe its worth it, it just appears very gimmicky to me.

This is like the static zapper for CD's and DVD's, just a gimmickry. supposed to make them sound better by removing static electricity. They don't do anything to improve the CD, just something to sell unsuspecting users.

I'll pass and stick with my Dust Off! Or whatever they call it. A can of compressed air. It's worked for years for me.

LOL! The theory behind it is correct to a certain extent but in my simple minded way of thinking, every time the camera is shut off and back on the electrostatic charge returns. Someone smater than me (not hard to do) may expand on this.

And what magic does it perform with oil or sticky '' welded dust’’.
A sensor swab and Eclipse is the way to do it if a good
upside-down blower doesn't get the crud off.
I have been using this method with 100’s of cameras…
100% success !
