This is my first picture posting,so be kind if i screwed it up.I always see griz when I'm fishing for steelhead in northern BC but this year was very cool with mom and 3 different color cubs. I took along my canon7dmk2 and a 100-400 lens and a 1.4 extender just in case. I really messed up my settings as when I first saw momma i was only about 50 feet away and was a little excited. i got about 200 shots and some are good but not exceptional.Wish i could have a do over ,but still was one cool experience.

Don't click the preview, or you will lose the attachments.

Also, please check off the store original to the right, before you submit the photos.

If you just reply, not quote the reply, you can download 3 images right there.

That must have been an awesome sight in person!

Regarding "store original," if the image is not at least 8oo px on a side, it will not be downloadable.

Your persistence paid off, Pkfish. Great capture! It must have been exciting to see this family of grizzlies.

It was exciting. These are salmon eating Griz and they are huge! Thanx. I need to figure out how to remove dng(raw) files easier and how to convert to JPEG and post properly.

Thank You for looking. The cubs are very cool as they are 3 differant colors. I've seen a lot of bears and Cubs but never 3 differant ones. I've been given a couple of thoughts on that , one being she could have adopted 1or2 or that she could get pregnant from more than 1 boar. She ain't tellin.

It was very cool and a little scary. I saw the sow first at about 50 ft and then the Cubs came. All she had to do was cross the river to a small island I was on. She was teaching them to catch salmon and you can find salmon all over the island. I've fished this area for the last 20 years and never had a problem with bears. I always let them know I'm there with as much advance notice as possible. I'm working on figuring out how to make my raw files downloadable. Thanx Linda

Do you use any post processing software?

Just open the file, and do a file save as, and save it as a jpeg file.

You can upload a jpeg, but trying to upload a raw file only gives you a link, not the thumbnail that you get with a jpeg file. And, I don't know how to do that.

But if you look back at the postings for the past few days, there has been someone who has been linking to raw files. PM that OP, and he/she could likely tell you how they did it.
