Why does the photo show a 28-200?

So, how come the box is in focus and the lens is fuzzy? Can't tell anything about it.

Thanks. This is what I wanted to know. So, you meant the correct lens information is on the box and not ii your first sentence. It is a 28-200 lens. Correct?

Other questions: is this an A-mount lens? And, is it totally manual or auto in any respect?

Thinking this might be worth trying. Will let you know later today.

ron

Ok, I see its a Minolta AF, so I need to research exactly what AF mounts are in relation to A mounts

You didn't answer my question about whether it was totally manual or auto.

Ron- this lens WILL BE fully functional on your Alpha camera. the 'AF' means auto-focus. You can look at this lens on the dyxum lens review. Not a bad lens. The price is ok,,you can get them on ebay for a bit more, a bit less. Hope this helps!-ed
