The SX10 was my first camera step up from a point shoot. I still have and use it when I do not want to be notice or place where dslr is not welcome. And amazing little camera with good pic quality. I use it as a pocket camera and when I got married again I had in my suit pocket to take a picture of my bride coming down the aisle. The only draw back with it is not having view finder.

sx10 has a viewfinder, and flipup flash and takes very good pictures
